What I Feel.... I Can't Wait

1. All I want at the end of the day is to come home and sit beside you. Telling you of my day. Holding your hands and resting my head on your shoulders.

2. I want to tell you about work and the stress I was buried in.
   I want to tell you about my annoying boss and that my co-worker that constantly taps the table with his pen.

3. I want to tell you about my promotion and salary raise.
   I also want to tell you about my disappointment when I found out I was cheated and sidelined for a position because of my gender.

4. I want to tell you about how exasperating my students make me feel.
   I also want to tell you about the young lady in my class who makes me proud and fulfilled.

5. I want to call you from work and cry about the sad and brutal news I just saw on TV.
   I also want to call you from work and scream excitedly about the beautiful news I heard from home.

6. I want to sit behind my desk and daydream of seeing you after the stress of the day.
   I also want to lift my face from my papers and sheets and see you stand at the door smiling and saying "pearl, I want to steal you for lunch".

7. I want to come home and lie safe feeling protected from this deep world and her stress.
   I want to come home and also share in your day. Listening and reading your every emotion.

It is not just about the romance and sweet nothings. But having a friend in your spouse to talk with, cry to, laugh with, play with and face this deep world with. Nothing compares.

It is just a feeling anyway... Feeling like am missing something BIGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!
