I'm a Razer fan and is always following their products and also latest news, like Project Linda.
Razer's been awesome with all their products (I'm an RGB fan ;) ), however their products are sold at very high prices, their laptops are even higher than Alienware right now.
Been eyeing this keyboard for a while, and they have a special bundle. Currently saving up!
Razer knows that there are many people out there who want to have Razer items but are not able to buy them. This is why they made a Paid to Play program to give back to the community.
What is Paid to Play program
It basically let you play games and earn zSilver points while playing! The accumulated zSilver can then be redeemed with Razer products on their page. zSilver you can accumulate has a daily limit, which is 900. But sometimes they have a double cap program on weekends, which will extend the limit to 1800. These double cap times contributed a lot to my zVault!
This program is quite cool, and I've accumulated enough zSilver to redeem a Razer Hammerhead Pro V2 ;)
Paid to Play program Suspension
Then why it is going to be suspended? This due to so much negativity about P2P received by Razer, even death threats. Min Liang Tan, Razer's CEO, knows that this is not to be accepted, and therefore the suspension.
I hope this is only temporary, and P2P can come back again. This program really made me happy and my respect to Razer grew a lot because really people, this is basically Razer giving away stuffs, without us paying any dollar! (well except the shipping fee. Duties and tax are all paid by Razer, too)
