Today, Loup Ventures published the results of testing three HomePod speakers. The "smart" devices were asked 782 questions.
As the journalists found out, the voice assistant understands 99.4% of the questions (correctly translates the speech into text), but is only able to answer 52.3% of them.
In a similar test, the success of Google Home is a striking 81%, Amazon Alexa handled 64% of the questions, and Microsoft Cortana correctly answered 57% of the questions.
On a brighter note, Loup Ventures have no complaints regarding the sound quality: "HomePod sounds incredible."
However, the question of whether the Apple Homepod is really worth $349 remains open as you can a cheaper Google Home for just $99.
