I also follow this rule, but only for below 20 percent... I don't keep it below 80%, I generally charge up to 100% directly. Actually using Dash Charger from OnePlus, so no matter whenever I set it for charge, it reaches 100% within a couple of minutes.

Nope. Dash Charge takes exactly 1 hr to charge Oneplus 3 and 1 hr 15 mins to charge 3t. Don't know for OnePlus 5. I am using Oneplus 3 and seen Oneplus 3t so this I can confirm. Well, having 3000 mah battery helps for a quicker charging time on Op3. It charges to 80% in 40 minutes in exactly 2% per minute time. For the rest 20 percent, it takes 20 minutes, gradually reducing from 2% per minute to less than 1% per minute. :)
