@sarrie Nice, well written article.
Sorry though, I have to disagree with the premise of this article.
IMHO, man-made CO2 is not the main factor affecting climate change, and the climate change alarmists have been wrong about their predictions.
Let me start by telling you a bit about who I am.
- I am a journeyman lineman, nuclear reactor operator, natural gas jet engine electric generator operator and diesel generator operator.
- I was also manager of a small town which was the first town in America to directly connect wind power to our city electrical distribution system.
- I am also an avid reader and have studied the climate change theorists with an open mind.
False alarms:
- Citizens of low-lying atoll nations such as Tuvalu have not had to abandon their island. In fact, their island is bigger now than when Al Gore and others raised the false alarm. Al Gore actually lied in his science fiction movie "An Inconvenient Truth"by saying they had already been evacuated to New Zealand.
- There are more polar bears today than ever.
- Antarctic glacial ice is at an all time high.
- Sea levels are decreasing, not increasing.
False Science
- When models prove to not equate to the real world, they should be abandoned. However, the climate change "scientists" continue to use models which have been proven wrong.
- Several studies picked and chose the data to be included in their conclusions. Real science examines all data.
- Scientists know our weather cycles closely mimic those on Mars where there are no men. Perhaps it is the sun causing these cycles, instead of anything man-made.
I tend to agree with these guys...
Weather Channel Founder and Climate Realist John Coleman said...
There is no significant man-made global warming at this time, there has been none in the past and there is no reason to fear any in the future. Efforts to prove the theory that carbon dioxide is a significant greenhouse gas and pollutant causing significant warming or weather effects have failed.
There has been no warming over 18 years.
William Happer, professor of physics, emeritus, at Princeton University...
No chemical compound in the atmosphere has a worse reputation than CO2, thanks to the single-minded demonization of this natural and essential atmospheric gas by advocates of government control and energy production. The incredible list of supposed horrors that increasing carbon dioxide will bring the world is pure belief disguised as science.
MIT professor of meteorology Richard S. Lindzen puts it in proper perspective...
Ambiguous scientific statements about climate are hyped by those with a vested interest in alarm, thus raising the political stakes for policy makers who provide funds for more science research to feed more alarm to increase the political stakes. After all, who puts money into science — whether for AIDS, or space, or climate — where there is nothing really alarming? Indeed, the success of climate alarmism can be counted in the increased federal spending on climate research from a few hundred million dollars pre-1990 to $1.7 billion today.
Hi @wizardave, I am really glad that you reply to my post and I'd like to know more about your opinions
What are the main causes of climate change if it's not man-made CO2, do you think?

As thorough as this whole comment is, it's nothing but an appeal to authority logical fallacy. Giving yourself a bunch of status positions and quoting select scientists that agree with you give you no credence to your point. Citations needed.
Allow me to start with this post rebuttal of your points: https://steemit.com/science/@mobbs/weak-climate-change-denial-points-i-haven-t-seen-before-debunked
