Enter MusicKey

It is with great honor, I'd like to introduce you to Evalds Vilks, a Latvian music producer whose sound is nothing less than visceral.

It is extremely rare nowadays to find an artist who is able to convey such sensations within electronic music, specifically underground techno. Nevertheless, Evalds shows his musical mastery when crafting his unique compositions. In his productions as well as on his DJ sets, you can never know what will come next as this is unpredictable. With influences ranging from hard to melodic techno passing through dub and industrial, MusicKey's sound is all over the place in a good way.

MusicKey also hosts a monthly radio show called Technodromm where he showcases what he does best, underground techno DJ sets with unexpected sounds.

Enjoy the official video for MusicKey - Area Port, taken from '28 Lives' an EP released on Different Is Different Records. This video clip was animated in stop motion by Forward Format, a nice group of chaps who are always animating awesome underground techno tracks. The video was made at 480p resolution because it was recorded with analog tape camcorders. There's quite some work behind the production of this video. I hope you can appreciate the efforts.
