In the preamble of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Samsung introduced three innovations: a directional speaker, a breathing aid and augmented reality glasses to help the visually impaired.
Samsung will take advantage of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), scheduled to begin Tuesday, Jan. 9, in Las Vegas (USA), to present three innovations straight out of its C-Lab: a directional speaker, a respiratory aid solution and augmented reality glasses for the visually impaired.

---S-Ray: a speaker that only you hear---

This small portable speaker, called S-Ray (for Sound-Ray), is actually a directional speaker made to enjoy his music absolutely anywhere without disturbing other people nearby.
This technology makes it possible to listen to music without having to use a headset and without others hearing it. Ultimately, the idea is to decline this concept in several sizes according to the uses (at home, in gym, transport, etc.).

---GoBreath: to learn to breathe---

Samsung is helping people with lung problems with this solution called GoBreath, which takes the form of an inspirometer to hang on his smartphone. Its dedicated mobile application is responsible for teaching the basic techniques of inspiration or deep breathing.
Patients can refer to the guidelines of the different exercises to see how well their lungs have recovered from this method. The idea is also to allow doctors to remotely monitor the progress made by their patients.

---Relúmĭno: augmented reality glasses for the visually impaired---

Until now, the Relúmĭno concept, designed to make the environment more accessible to the visually impaired, only worked through an application dedicated to a virtual reality headset, in this case the Samsung Gear VR, which was not very practical.
By offering this prototype of augmented reality connected glasses, Samsung wants to simplify the lives of the visually impaired by automatically correcting images returned through several modes of vision, making them clearer or allowing them to read correctly. These glasses would, a priori, be adapted to all types of visual handicaps.
