in technology •  7 years ago

Russian government developed a new programme "Digital Economy in Russian Federation" that expected to be approved by their president.

According to this plan, they hope to see in Russia as minimum 10 big hi-tech enterprises within next 7 years. And they want to see that their higher education system can satisfy a demand for IT specialists.

Generally, Russia plans to use more actively the new technology, including blockchain, in 8 main areas:

  • Government Regulation;
  • Information Infrastructure;
  • Research and Development;
  • Human Resources and Education ;
  • Information Security;
  • State Management;
  • Smart City;
  • Digital Healthcare.

We'll see if they have a political will and ability to complete this ambitious plan.

Historically, Russians are considered in some extend great scientists and programmers, but in a country governed by socialism with elements of populism is hard to think in creative and global entrepreneurship. Will see how things evolve for them.

That sounds good. if Russia go fully capitalist, they will progress. upvoted
