"The Tokyo Travel Diary" isn't over just yet. Today I want to share with you my experience, attending Tech In Asia for APPICS!

About Tech in Asia
Tech in Asia's conferences are one of the largest tech conferences in the region. It was conceived to connect the tech startup ecosystem in an offline setting, as an extension of our mission to build and serve Asia's tech communities.

"Tech in Asia Tokyo 2017 will open doors for those interested in entering the Japanese market, and for locals searching for global opportunities. They will also dive headfirst into the latest tech happenings, uncover untapped opportunities and reveal what’s yet to come to help you stay ahead of the curve."

Their main conferences take place in Singapore, Jakarta and Tokyo.

Why is Tokyo, Japan an important place to be for Crypto-StartUps?

Japan has become one of the largest countries in terms of trading bitcoin, in the world. The country made a statement that they have no intention to ban the sales of cryptocurrency, but rather they would like to see it become a legitimate industry. In April, Bitcoin became recognized in Japan as an official legal tender. This means that it will be treated like any other form of currency.

That's what I call great progress!
At Tech In Asia I got to get an insight into the Asia market, the largest market for technology, get to know local StartUps in the Crypto-Space, but even beyond that I also found some interesting AI and VR projects.
