With the new GeForce 425.31 WHQL drivers NVIDIA implements support for DXR, DirectX Raytracing , for a large number of video cards not belonging to the GeForce RTX family. We are talking about the GeForce GTX 1660Ti, GTX 1660, GTX 1060 6GB, GTX 1070, GTX 1070Ti, GTX 1080 and GTX 1080Ti models. Other cards of the GeForce GTX 10 family and previous proposals do not implement such support, and as far as NVIDIA indicates they will never implement it in the future.
