I am in Australia. I have solar power and my rate is at 6.8c/KWh. Very similar, however our normal electricity rate is 32c/ KWh. Our electricity prices are among the highest in the world.

Wow! At those rates it's pretty much irresistible, I have to wonder why everyone wouldn't have it.

Probably because it is quite expensive to install. The 6.8c/KWh is only for the electricity fed back into the grid. we still get charged the rate of 32c/KWh in normal circumstances.
