NTE QUICKCross is a tool that allows you to know the majority of semiconductors that exist. In it you can search thousands of devices, such as potentiometers, trimmers, fuses, RF connectors, semiconductors, relays, resistors, switches, disk thermostats, terminals. Besides that this allows you to visualize its characteristics in a PDF.

How do I get it?

This tool can be accessed for free from its official website. To do this simply search our browser "NTE QUICKCross" and this will automatically show us the link to the page.

Make sure you enter the official website.

Once on the page we proceed to look for the download option (Usually the page sends you directly to the download tab) After that we proceed to download it and this will show us a small form that must be filled before download.

After completing the forms we proceed to give the Submit button and this will take us to the download option. Once we have the tool downloaded and installed we proceed to give it use.

Once we are on the search screen I proceed to explain how it works;

After having entered the part code, the tool will show us a universal serial code, a PDF with the characteristics and will tell us which category it belongs to.

The most beautiful thing about this tool is the ease with which you can access the features of a component. Which is displayed as follows;

What is the universal serial?

This is used to check which part can be the same or different from the one we are looking for, that is, it may have an original code or a slightly different appearance, but the function it does and its ability to do it is the same.

Here for example I look for a D1555 which is used to replace the D2499 that you look for previously. As you can see the tool gives me the same universal serial code as the D2499 which is NTE 2331. So if my TV is damaged the D2499 and I have a D1555 I can put it and it will work in the same way.

What am I looking for to give examples?

To test the post use a D2499 and a D1555, which are horizontal outputs of a TV. Its appearance as shown in the previous chart is as follows.

Before ending it is important to mention that although 2 pieces are physically identical, they do not always do the same function nor have the same capacity, as well as shows the following image, where when I look for the D1880 it is seen that the universal code is the NTE2353 and its appearance is equal to the aforementioned.
