For all those who are going gung-ho about the new secret messaging kid on the block (Sarahah) and are addicted to it, your anonymity bubble is about to burst.
Apparently the Sarahah app which bills itself as an honest feedback app is not so honest about its ability to harvest and upload all addresses and phone numbers to its servers.
This was first discovered by Zachary Julian from 'The Intercept'. When questioned about its intentions, the app's founder Zain Alabdin Tawfiq came up with a lame excuse that it is for 'Find your Friend' feature and will the reverted in future versions.
The data that has been extracted so far is a goner now though.
Now why should an app which calls itself an anonymous feedback platform require your contact details?
