I don't care for slasher movies, I'm more into creature features if the creature is realistic and the scenario plausible. If I do watch a slasher type movie I like for it to be either a solvable murder or a psychological thriller that really makes you think.

Two of my favorite more recent low budget monster films are "Attack the Block" and "Grabbers." The character actors in these films were amazing.

Out of your picks I loved "The Host," and "Tucker and Dale vs. Evil" is a must see LOL.
