Again bad news for Samsung. Yesterday a Southwest Airlines flight from Louisville, KY, was evacuated after an unidentified Samsung phone caught fire, burning a hole in the carpet and filling the cabin with smoke. Luckily it happend without injuries.
Finally we know now from the owner oft he mobile that it was a replacement Samsung Galaxy Note 7 that exploded.
A Samsung spokeswoman explained on request not to be able to make any information because the device was not yet recovered. They cooperate with the airline and the authorities to investigate the smartphone.

It's just easier to buy another samsung phone over the Note 7, just to be safe.
