Remember kodak moments?

in technology •  7 years ago

Its 2017 and we have a thousand and one digital cameras and smart phones with picture resolution clearer than real life! with HD, auto focus and so on, coupled with a thousand and one filters.......pictures can be view edited and uploaded and shared on different platforms within seconds.

in 2009 kodak announced it will no longer make the kodochrome films, that was the end of an era! the digital age had won.

back when i was much younger there was this fascination and seriousness that came with taking a picture, you had to pose properly, wait for weeks for the film to be developed into a photo card, some times after waiting weeks the pictures turns out to be blurry, annoying or just off, there was this mild anxiety that came with waiting to see how the picture turned out.

we had our beautiful  kodak moments , capturing our most cherished times in events and ceremonies...

as man advances in technology, there will be more changes to the present photography and picture taking.

Hopefully, when im still Here!

Do you miss the traditional Cameras with Films?

@epikcoin - Really appreciate your refreshing memories on Kodak moments. I have an old Agfa 20 that my dad purchased when he was young. I am planning to get a suitable film and take a few shots. Upvoted

Thank you for pointing it out , correct guy!

never really used em..but i know photography will progress to a stage that will do so much more with less..professionally especially but artistic skill will be the a distinguishing factor

If you ain't using films you ain't using nothing!
