Remember when we were kids, some of us had this little drawing board with two turn-buttons at the bottom to control the X- and Y-axis? Some even has a stylus to go with it.
So over our typical yc session (grabbing a cup of coffee) at our usual spot with @cklai and @georgethien, @cklai reached into his Doraemon-esque backpack filled with all kinds of weird contraptions and pulled something out.
Now this has certainly brought the good old writing board that we used to know to a whole new level. Don’t get me wrong, these writing boards might have been on the market for a while now but it certainly is something new to me; a big jump from what I used to play with.
The way I look at it, it’s a perfect substitute to the iPad and the like to teach children, a greener alternative to art blocks for them to draw and get inspired or simply a sketch pad for the artist in you. There’s even an app for you to capture whatever you wrote on the board straight into your phone for easier reference.
Captured into the app
There’s definitely a certain nostalgia in it but bumped way into the modern age. Follow us on steemit! Cheers 😎
I remember when the first time my parents bought those magnetic whiteboard for me. I'm so excited. I took care of it for almost 3 years before it broke down.
