Many people wonder what can happen if you leave your laptop connected to electricity.

It is not possible that the battery of your laptop overload, because when it is about to reach 100% it stops charging but will keep it at 100%, if it gets to download a little bit automatically, the battery will charge 100% again.

When it is detected that the battery is reaching 100% the load speed decreases avoiding an overload, for example if our laptop has a 70% charged battery it will surely take 10 minutes to charge 80% of those 80% to 90% may take 15 minutes, and at the end to reach 100% will take a minimum of 20 minutes, this happens to not charge the battery at the same speed in which it is at 70% and not to overheat and damage the battery.

Now we know that having our laptop connected will not overheat our battery.
