When time will come to decide which mobile phone you need to choose, one option needs to be Samsung Galaxy S8. It just needs to be, even if you don't have that much money you need to put it in the consideration. This phone has everything that you need at the moment - amazing, big and quality screen, great camera and one of the best performances. It is expensive, I know, there is no question about that, but for this price you will get everything at the top quality within one of the most popular brands.
I've had a chance to test tit and see what's all about "the best phone on the market", cause good friend of mine bought it, and believe me, I fell in love instantly!
Design
In general, Samsung created trusted formula with his previous "edge" designs - nice and innovative, so they just followed the basics and added few twists to make it more better, as it needs to be with new versions.
S8 comes with his new, taller look for easier handling, scrolling and reaching fingerprint sensor which is located on the back, near the camera. I will not bother you with information where certain buttons are located, it's really unnecessarily. With great design comes great risk of damage - S8 is covered all in glass, so you need to be extra careful to not drop it because there's a big chance it will brake up. My advice is that you put some protecting mask as soon as possible just to be sure, just in case.

Display
12 MP camera with new 1/2.55 inch sensor works pretty well. Front camera (8 MP) has an option to take selfies with voice recorder, heart beat sensor, and with fist gesture, which is fun way to do this famous operation. In compare with best Xiaomi cameras, S8 beat them in cases of low light and night photos. You can see all the beauties that S8 camera can take:

To compete Google Assistant, Samsung developed Bixby - a personal assistant who will remind you on whatever with shortcuts, news, applications, events, etc. which is kinda annoying if you ask me. I don't want it, but sadly it's integrated so it cannot be fully removed (only with upcoming root), you can only turn it off, but still Bixby button is there. Annoying.
S8 has still 3,5mm audio jack and that fact is surprising, and if you ask me, this is probably the last Samsung model with it. Yeah, so sad. Package contains in-ear AKG headphones that sounds really good.
All apps and game are running really smooth and without any blockings.

Conclusion
If you are considering buying new phone, Samsung S8 is really best buy, especially now when price went down a bit, it was pretty high at the beginning. Display like this, camera like this, performance like this and design like this you won't find anywhere for this price. Price is still high, but as I need to compare everything with iPhone X's price, I'll tell you that S8 is almost twice cheaper than iPhone, and you get almost the same, if not better, phone for cheaper price.
To lower S8 rating a bit, I don't like the thing with Bixby assistant, like I really don't. It is also really easy to break the phone, as we mentioned before, so you need to be very careful. As I read about the phone, many people says that fingerprint sensor is place a bit illogically, but I don't mind it.
If you are still in doubt about buying Samsung Galaxy S8, just go to the store and take it in your hand, scroll a little, take some pictures, and I'm sure you will fall in love like I did.

After 9 years of Apple phone, and 3 years with my last iphone 6 to wait iphone X to finally go to samsung.
Very good phone, I have a glass protection and no problem of loss of sensitivity. Fabulous screen, very responsive, impressive virtual reality headset.
Only Android is a little off. But with some applications, we get to find a little iPhone. Given the difference in price, I think there is no hesitation.

Samsung S8 is a spectacular phone but I personally don't believe it's that much of an upgrade from it's predecessor. The battery life is actually worse compared to the S7 because of the larger screen size, the camera is actually identical to the S7 except some minor post processing tweaks. It does come with a stronger and a more power efficient CPU though, which means less overheating issues and a longer battery life in general.
Not to be misunderstood, it's a spectacular phone, but I wish it offered more compared to the last S series model.
The new S9 is rumored to be much more of an upgrade, especially in the camera department so photography and videography enthusiasts like myself will opt for the S9 model rather than the S8.

I love my Samsung s8+ but I have had an issue where the charge port no longer fast chargers with the original cable... Samsung will repair this under warranty as it's less than 6 months old but the inconvenience of sending it away to be repaired has saddened me a little as I use my phone almost constantly for work and my busy social life.

I got the s8 recently! It really is an awesome phone! I went from an iPhone 6s!
For a long time, I had bias opinion and I was hating Samsung for their past mistakes... And couldn't see through that. But then something happened... Well, not something but like... I really needed a new phone because my 6s was shuting down while I was flyin a drone. And that is ultra dangerous... So I went to my telecomunications dealer and looked at the prices... And damn the new iPhones are like astronomicaly expensive and I just didn't have it in me to spend 900 - 1200 euro for a phone.
