Hi Steemit family!

Every day the tourism industry begins to discover that smart bracelets have come into our lives to stay.
Equipped with chips of radiofrequency the person who owns can pay for their purchases just by passing the bracelet through the point of sale that is ready to receive the signal. Many businesses such as hotels, cruise ships, and parks are adopting this technology that allows the user to pay, register or access any attraction.

Already the fear is gone and new technologies have been gaining the attention and respect of more people. They go on a trip sure that you have to carry a smartphone or Tablet to be always connected to the network.

This that art the trend that companies have put terminals to accept payment through intelligent wristbands. A few years ago I saw many promotions that made the wristbands and people were like doubtful, even I was, how it would impact the use in real life of this kind of advance.

A basic example of use is that the person can enter any site without queuing up paying quickly and effectively. He can even use the bracelet as a master key to enter the room.

Theme parks

Disney World at the end of 2013 decided to bet on this technology with great success began to offer its visitors the Mymagic+ wristband device, a wristband that would be complemented with a mobile application, the traveler would have total control over what type of vacation plan from transportation and transfers at airports, enter the interior of the park, eat at their restaurants where they have booked, as well as attractions, to save data in the case of photographic images in the internal memory of the wristband.

In short, the mobile app and MagicBand wristbands offer an automated experience with excellent control over the extreme personalization of the trip, making it a unique and innovative experience.
The Phocuswrightthe company that manufactures Disney wristbands with the service offers a unique experience to travelers in relation to the provision of quality services in the same space.

The success is so resounding that a group of managers and shareholders have made so much money with the wristbands that they are compensating for the costs of opening their Shanghai Disneyland park.
These ideas have spread to other latitudes to other parks that want to get this wonderful service.

Cruise Ships

Royal Caribbean is another company linked to the tourism sector that has implemented the bracelet in its fleet. One of them is its cruise Quantum of the Seas, the most recent and equipped with the most sophisticated technology, the bracelet serves as a guide inside the ship, shopping or simple and practical as to open the cabin.

Experiences in Spain

There are several hotel companies that have made the leap, including Palladium Hotel Group one of the first to offer intelligent wristband service.
Another company is the Hard Rock Hotel and Ushuaia in Ibiza, where they can use Smart VIB, check in and check out in the blink of an eye. As well as the priority of having access to different sites as well as pay everything with the bracelet, it is also linked to the PayPal payment system and credit cards with the only approach in official readers.

Tecnalia is a Spanish company that is developing intelligent wristbands that offer the same features as the other companies mentioned above.

Visa Bracelet

Finally, another giant of electronic transactions such as Visa through La Caixa, distributed about 15000 Visa contactless wristbands.
The wristbands allow you to make purchases immediately and safely where more than 300,000 shops in Spain where you can make these purchases.

This device allows you to make purchases only by bringing your wrist closer to the dataphone. The test was "the greatest experience in Europe of using a wearable as a means of payment for real transactions with Visa," as reported by the financial institution.
In this way, customers of the entity can carry their card on their wrist and make payments in more than 300,000 shops in Spain.

If you buy more than 20 euros in any product as a security means you have to place your pin in the dataphone of the store. For fewer amounts you can just bring the bracelet closer to the dataphone, which is compatible with all other affiliated companies.

I enjoyed this post. Technology has come such a far way. I once read a book that took place in the future, where everyone's ID was implanted in their wrist and they could swipe with it to pay for things and to confirm their ID. With these, this may become a reality.
One concern I would have is that when you pay for things using something fun like this, and you can't see the cash leaving your pocket, it may encourage people to spend more and not be aware of how much they are spending. Another concern is how easily could it be hacked to steal money, but they have probably already thought of this, like putting in a pin during larger purchases.
Otherwise, this looks like great technology and I can't wait to see what is next.
