World's first robot 'citizen' Sophia says she would like to start a Family

World's first robot 'citizen' Sophia says she would like to start a Family and claims all droids deserve to have children. This all comes just one month after she made history by becoming the first robot to be granted citizenship. Sophia was announced a citizen of Saudi Arabia in October.

Sophia is a humanoid robot designed by Hong Kong firm, Hanson Robotics. Sofia is modeled after Audrey Hepburn. Sophia was activated on April 19, 2015.

    I watched some of this last week on a news program but I didn't know she was modeled after Audrey Hepburn , very fitting ! It was pretty cool and freaky at the same time ! Humanoid robots are definitely the future , they are working on a male humanoid as well like Sophia . Thanks for sharing @Gavinthegreat / upped and resteemed on both !             OOoo Uncanny valley... I ha ha don't trust her probably because of it. When she tells me not to heed advice about AI, I instinctively want to be cautious of her haha. But I am sure she is nice.

                          Thanks for sharing. I think, we should discuss more about if and how we give rights to AI. Self conscious AI does not exist today, but the development of AI won't stop. It's better to be prepared when an AI meets our definition of consciousness.
