Positive and Negative effects of Technology development

Technology.  The definition of technology is the collection of techniques, skills, methods, and process used in the production of good or service.

When i hear this word several things pop up in my mind. For example: revolutionary things,gadgets and basically new products that will reform our life and will make it better over the time. Yes, most of the time these predictions are true about the newest technologies, but nowadays we can't be sure about that these inventions and developments serve the right things, but more about this a little bit later.

First of all, most of the inventions and technologies that have been invented through the centuries are so indispensable and we can't live without them. Just think about this topic which includes electricity,computer,internet and smart phones. They are all necessary for everyday life and sometimes we don't even notice that they are existing. I mean it is so obvious that we have these things so we are not really thankful for that. They are just so clear to have them.

Advantages:

1. Easy access to information
2. Greater, improved communication
3. Faster,better, more convenience vehicles/travelling

1.With the invention of internet our word had a huge step. Nowadays it is part of our everyday life and we cant live without it. Internet made communication easier, faster. We can get any information from all around the word at any time less than a second. Businesses have a lot easier thing when they want to grow their influence, sell their things and make partnerships. Thanks to this beautiful invention anybody can contact with anybody, show their value and show theme self for a larger community

2. Alexander Graham Bell was a genius. By inventing telephone in the 19th century he made the first step to the telephone that are existing today. In the past around 1900-1980 it was a privilege for everybody to phone somewhere. Until the 70s-80s people went to a call box and called there family, friends from there. This situation is impossible to understand for the children and even for the teenagers nowadays. We are living in a world that is jam-packed with smart gadgets and smartphones as well. Fortunately or unfortunately every kid has their own even though they are only 8-10. In my opinion its a shame that those little kids are playing on their phones instead of playing with their friends on the playground or playing football. On the other hand these smart goods gave us so much freedom, easy information access and easier communication. To sum up i am really happy that we have them but we have to keep a limit about the using hours.

3.  Modern transportation technology makes it very easy to travel long distances.  Transport is a very important both in our lives and in the business world.  Transportation technology has evolved with years. In the past, it used to be slow and expensive to move long distances. Nowadays, I can cover a 10 miles distance within a few minutes or hours  using electric trains or airplanes.

Negative site:

1. Increased loneliness
2. Job loss
3. Nuclear wepons

1.  Social Isolation is on the increase, people are spending more time playing video games, learning how to use new modern technologies, using social networks and they neglect their real life. Technology has replaced our old way of interacting. If a user can easily interact with 100 friends online, they will feel no need to going out to make real friends which at a later stage leads to loneliness

2.  Modern technology has replaced many humans; robots are doing the jobs which used to be done by humans. Many packing firms have employed robots on production lines to increase production and efficiency, this is good news for businesses because it helps them make more money and serve customers in time, but it is bad news to employees because they get replaced by a robot. 

3. Modern technology has been the main aid in the increasing and endless wars. It aids the manufacturing of modern war weapons which will require testing. So when these weapons get into the hands of criminals, they will use them for their selfish reasons.

In conclusion, The modern technology have a serious impact in modern life, it is our responsibility to use it to make the world a better place
