The prototype Aspark Owl was presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show last year. The creators of the supercar then claimed that theoretically its capacity should be 430 horsepower.

A new video from the makers of the electric car demonstrates that the Japanese electric car reached a speed of 100 km / h in just 1.9 seconds. This is comparable to the figures claimed by Tesla Roadster of the second generation.

The achievement of this speed was made possible by the lightweight all-carbon body Owl. The car also received a unique aerodynamic design, and its height was only 99 centimeters. The car is equipped with two motors, the total power of which amounted to more than 1.000 horsepower.

Nevertheless, Aspark states that engineers will continue to adjust the formula of their supercar until the record breaking results are achieved on street tires.

Representatives of Aspark say that the electric supercar Owl will soon be released in a circulation of 50 units. The cost of the car will reach $ 4.4 million.
