Lg announced its flagship for 2017, v30 and v30+ at IFA 2017 in Berlin.The flagship phone has many top of the line features including the near bezel less display with HDR10/Dolby Vision.The V in V30 stands for Video.The phone has excellent video camera features including point zoom.Its a solid contender for the galaxy note 8.
Why it could be the best..
The Display
The lg v30 has a 6 inch 1440 x 2880 (qHD+) P-OLED capacitive touchscreen with about 80% screen to body ratio. It also supports HDR10 meaning more vivid and vibrant colors from supported videos and content. its oled which means more vivid colors and contrast compared to LCD panels and certainly more power efficient than the traditional displays.the display has a slight curve (not like the crazy curve on the s8) which gives it a beauty
The Camera
This phone has Dual 16 MP with a f/1.6(no other phone has this) which means more light than other smartphone cameras.The stock camera app contains a plethora of features including point zoom and video presets.Its secondary camera features a 5 MP, f/2.2 sensor
The Audio
It has a headphone jack(its not dead yet).This phone has B&O certification.It also has a Quad DAC(means the phone can drive higher impedance headphones).
The Juice
The v30 has a 3300 mAh battery .It could last up-to a whole day easily.Even if it didn't it features qualcom's quick charge 3.0 which allows a lesser recharge time..
Durability
V30 has an IP68 rating which means you wont need to worry about dirt or water.The phones has also passed military grade testing (MIL-STD 810G).
The Internals
It has the latest Snapdragon 835 chipset( Qualcomm MSM8998 Snapdragon 835 with Octa-core CPU (4x2.45 GHz Kryo & 4x1.9 GHz Kryo) and Adreno 540 GPU) with 4GB ram.
The phone also provides room for expansion via a micro SD slot and provides all the necessary sensors that a flagship could provide.It provide ample storage of 64 GB for V30 and 128 GB for V30+
