How to remove write protection on a "pendrive"

Try an alternative by using CMd:

First: Type CMd on search/Run bar
2nd: Type diskpart
3Rd: Type listdisk
4th: Type select disk "-"(- indicates the number of your pendrive that you are going to select)
5Th: type attributes disk clear readonly and press enter
6th: type exit to get out from disk part utilityIMG_8190.PNG
