I came across the Infinite Skills vSphere 6 Administration Essentials from Oreilly Media. This is a video course taught by Wayne Anderson.

There are 11 chapters:

12. vSphere upgrade & Patch management

This course is designed so you can do your job as an VMware Administrator more effectively.

Pre-requisites for this class include networking knowledge or network plus equivalent, 2 years of working with Windows Server

• Network plus or equivalent networking knowledge
• 2 years of working with Windows Server
• familiarity with a Linux distribution

To take this course you will need access to a VMware lab that includes, vSphere 6, vCenter, networking and storage. If not, you can use VMware HOL, or you can use VMware workstation on your computer (16 GBs ram) and hardware storage like Synology or a software SAN from quadstore for free.
