Seeing some of the Artificial intellengence being created....I am scared shitless.

If you haven't already seen, we have had an influx of artificial intelligence coming up in technology news within the last few years....It has been increasing in not only popularity, but also in complexity....to the level of which I am starting to fear. There could be many dark futures when talking the potentials of A.I. and I can't seem to contain my fear for what is to come. Let's put on our tinfoil hats and talk a little bit about some of the places that we are headed.

If you are not afraid of this kind of technology you obviously haven't seen the newest season of Black Mirror haha. I know it seems funny to compare this technology to a TV show, but I feel this is a close comparison of a potential future for us. We have a world where humans are running away from these robots because the robots are programmed to kill humans. This sounds like your typical Scifi robot movie but we are coming closer to this type of technology and the concept of robots policing humans will be a topic of conversation in the near future. The advantage of having robots policing humans is that robots do not make mistakes. The disadvantage of robots policing humans is that they do not have emotion nor do they have understanding of certain complexities that humans need for comfort and proper growth. The concept of kill some to save all comes in to play. We might have robots killing off mass amounts of population in order to save billions... so the concept is bleak at best.

A.I. is terrifying when you put into context that we will soon have robots that are far superior in terms of intelligence. This could tell us so much about the human existence. We might learn more about our origins or even maybe secrets of the galaxies. This is exciting news but we also could hear about our impending doom. Humans seem to push away the problems they have until they are forced to face them. Denial is just part of our nature and we as humans have let A.I research go unregulated. We are talking about something that is more dangerous than cancer going unregulated in terms of research. Humans need to understand the line in the sand and that we are close to crossing this line. This can go from conspiracy theory to reality in the blink of an eye.
