Google is now targeting hidden extension which contain a crypto miner.

One of the extensions blocked ads for users, but mined Monero in the background.

    I would have no problem with extensions doing this if they were transparent about it. It would be ok if they would say something like: "look, we won't show you ads, but we would like to use some of your resources for mining".
