Samsung has teased its Bixby 2.0 assistant for a couple of months now and it could show up on one of their devices soon. The Tech Giant's AI research center head, Gray G. Lee said to Korea Herald that the new AI assistant will arrive with the soon to come flagship device in the second half of 2018, or I could say, the Galaxy Note. Lee promised faster responses, natural language processing and better results.
Bixby 2.0 should make use of Samsung's Viv acquisitionto encourage both conversational commands, deep linking, multiple users and more as outlined in October last year. Not everything mentioned at Bixby 2.0's unveiling will make it into the final release though.
But this should help Samsung catch up with Amazon's Alexa, Google Assistant and Apple's Siri.
