If you had to replace the battery of your iPhone 6 or later and did it between January 1 and December 28, 2017, we have good news: Apple offers you a credit of 1,050 pesos that will be granted via electronic funds transfer or as a credit on the credit card that was used to pay for the service.

The only requirement that the company asks the beneficiaries, according to a statement, is that they have made the battery change at any of its authorized service points: Apple Store, Apple repair center or Apple-authorized service provider.

After verifying that the users comply with this condition, the signature of the apple will contact them between May 23 and July 27, 2018 to explain how to obtain their credit.

This measure comes after, at the end of last year, a large number of iPhone users complained about the performance of the battery of not recent models.

In December, Apple concluded that such equipment slowdown was due to the aging of lithium batteries, whose performance "naturally" decreases over time.
