South Korea: The scientists are trying to make smart contact lenses from last few years, but now scientists have made a lens that can note the amount of glucose in blood using eye moisture.
The interesting aspect of this invention is that there is no need for heavy and large appliances to get the information, as well as it is also very easy to wear which have been built from micro-electronics.
Experts from the National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST) of South Korea have made contact lenses that can note the amount of glucose in blood using moisture or tears. This lens is very soft and easy to wear than others.
Experts have included three main things in this contact lens in which nano-technology is used. This includes glucose measuring sensor, wireless power transfer circuit, and a function of display pixels.
Lens handles data and readings that appear on the LED pixel. As soon as the lens notes the excess amount of blood sugar in the eyes, the same time the LED pixel (a point of light) closes and warns the patient.
So far, this lens has been tested on the rabbit's eyes and the amount of animal blood was noted through wireless contact. The good thing for this lens is that diabetes patients can also be diagnosed with it so that they can cure this disease.
On the other hand, it will be possible to make virtual or augmented reality devices using more sensors.
that will be a revolution cant wait to wear one of those
