In that process, multiple CPUs work jointly and CPUs execute a separate program or completely execute different programs called multiprocessing operating system. In this case, more than one program is preserved in main memory. A processor can process any program in main memory, or separate parts of the same program can be processed by different processors. Multiprocessing is not a kind of processor. There may be several types of processor suitable for various tasks. Its processing is extremely fast for multiprocessing methods to have multiple processors. It also helps in processing complex cpu operations by using different CPUs for the purpose of editing,working sequence control, file maintenance etc. The relatively small CPU is called front end processor or support processor.Work does not completely stop when a processor becomes bad in multiprocessing process, only slow down the work. So its credibility is more than the other systems. Some processors are closed for low amount of work. In a variety of ways, the support processor is used in modern computer systems. For example, 8087 co-processor is used to help the main processor of ibmc in mathematical work. The mathematical work speed of 8087 is 200 times higher than the 8088.Multiprocessor is an organization called coupled process system.
