College girls steal Rs 3 lakh mobile phone to spend on boyfriend

Mumbai Police has caught two college girls who steal mobile from Ladies' compartment of local train. Both accused girls are college students and used to steal a smartphone to spend money on boyfriends. According to Crime Branch, both girls have stolen mobile phones worth Rs. 3 lakhs so far. According to the police, both girls had affair with the same boy. The police arrested one of the two accused on the 30th of May for allegedly stealing the phone.

On May 30, Railway Crime Branch arrested Twinkle Soni and Tennel Parmar from the Women's Department of Western Railway Mumbai Local Train, on the charge of stealing the phone. Western Railway DCP Purushottam Karad said that many cases of mobile theft were reported from the women's compartment of the local train, after which the team had started preparing to find thieves by making the team.

Initial investigation revealed that both the accused are girls' college students and their affair with a young man named Singh. Both girls used to steal a mobile phone and sell them and spend on lions. On 30th May, women police personnel arrested the accused, Twinkle Soni, in a computer bag, while stealing mobile. On the spot, 9 mobile phones stolen from Sony bags were recovered. Total 38 mobile phones and 30 memory cards were recovered from the accused.

After this, the police arrested the accused Singh and the young man, who used to purchase these theft mobile phones. According to the police, Sony is a student of architecture and Parmar is a degree college student. Both girls used to sell the stolen mobile phone with the help of a lion.

Police said that both girls used to steal inside the train on the way to college. At present all the accused are in police custody and the police is interrogating further information about the matter.
