I am a college student - been going for a couple years now. One thing I have learned since starting is that huge companies like to give things away for free to students. I have got free digital ocean, almost every version of Windows Server, Microsoft SQL, all of Atlassian products, and more.
I was talking to a colleague of mine and he mentioned that he had a version of Maya. I asked him how did he get that. He replied because I am student. After doing some digging I found that Autodesk gives all the following products to student for free for 3 years (and you can renew that for life if you get to keep your school email address:
