Bangladesh first Satellite Bangabandhu-1 Launch on 4th May 2018

The country's first artificial satellite is going to launch 'Bangabandhu Satellite - 1' on May 4. Chairman of Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) Shahjahan Mahmud informed this information on Wednesday (April 11th) in the morning (April 11).

The satellite will be launched from Cape Canaverral, Florida, USA, after inaugurating Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina from Dhaka on that day.

The satellite will be sent to the space by Space explorer Falcon-9 rocket in the United States space agency. Bangladesh is going to name the 57th satellite member country in the list.

In the meantime, orbital slots have been purchased from Russia's satellite company Intersputnik. This orbit has been purchased for 15 years in the 119.91 East local time space of about 219 million rupees.
