In my opinion the first industry that will automate is.....fast food.
Imagine how much faster a robot can make the food, serve the food, and deliver the food to the window. Most of the fast food places make things pretty stupid proof so the food gets out faster. They have been working toward this end for many years. Just look at how many automated machines they have already in use. All with the thought of using less labor, reduce training time, and giving better, faster service. There would never be a wait for the ding dong who is texting their friend slowing the process down or other employee issues to deal with. Think of how many jobs this permanently eliminate.
