Toronto may be the North America's future Tech leader!

A recent technology report revealed that Toronto, Canada may be North America’s fastest-growing tech market. Toronto is North America's fourth largest city in North America with a population of over 2.8 million is becoming a leader in technology innovation of all kinds.
According to CBRE's tech talent report Toronto moved up 6 places this year to #6 after last year achieving 12th place. This report evaluated the tech talent in 50 U.S. And Canadian markets. A major increase in the city’s tech talent employment base was the reason for the rapid jump. Toronto added 22,500 tech jobs between 2015 and 2016, and this is one of the major reasons why companies are flocking to the high quality talent that Toronto has to offer.

There are over 212,000 qualified people in the Toronto area that have highly technical talent, and is the fourth largest in North America, That number makes up 8% of the total labour market. Millennials grew almost 10% between 2010 and 2015
Financial and innovation capital in Canada offers many companies an affordable location to operate their businesses only second to Vancouver when it comes to acquiring high quality tech talent.
Even Toronto's Mayor is on board with having this status and is all in with promoting the city as such. Reports from CBRE and others definitely help in securing Toronto's footprint in the tech industry. In the AI field, Toronto has shown a large increase in the tech labour force in the last year alone. Toronto has created more jobs in this field than New York and the San Francisco Bay area combined.
Toronto was recently chosen to host the INFINITI's accelerator program lab for the luxury car brand.
