Asus had a partnership with Qualcomm for making snapdragon 845 with over locked CPU and GPU especially for Asus ROG smartphone.
At the ongoing Computex expo in Taipei, Taiwanese electronics manufacturer Asus has launched a new gaming phone under its ROG brand. The new device, dubbed ROG Phone, features an overclocked Snapdragon 845 SoC coupled with 8GB RAM to offer unmatched performance in the flagship mobile segment.
The device features a 6-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with HDR support, a 90Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time. The device also packs in up to 512GB storage and a 12MP+8MP dual camera setup on the back. On the front, the device has an 8MP shooter along with a stereo speaker system for maximum immersion while gaming.
