It's recommended to learn online tutorial, you tube videos etc' but the main key for success it to write a lot of code.
there are no shortcuts, you have to experience using the technologies, solving problems, testing for errors and so on.
the more you do it the better developer you will be.

after you learn and start getting your hands dirty it's time for creating your portfolio to show your knowledge.
your portfolio can be a website with a showcase of several projects you have created.
lets say one website you develop from scratch (responsive layout).
One who interacts with the database,
One who displaying data from social media using API.

just think of the best way to proof yours skills in a fun and modern way.
