I agree with some of these points - it seems the more serious crimes are often ignored. I have sometimes seen that the police will fine the man in the fancy suit who rides his bicycle to work without a helment (violation) but not the homeless man who poops on the sidewalk (also violation). The reason reason the police focus on the first is because obviously he can afford to pay the fine, but not the second. Not fair. This techonology could be used for targeting generally good citizens with extra cash instead of the generally poor big offenders. It is a money making project for the police, and their partners.
