I am just starting with Linux and it hurts. I had to force myself to sign up for a Linux class, whilst I love the philosophy behind it I feel elderly using it. My oldest (@walky123) says this "Linux is a great system, as long as you aren't the one using it." Hopefully in a few months, I'll be building a Linux server (ISPF).
While everyone uses Linux without "using" Linux I hope I can adjust and move up to advanced distros soon. My plan: Immerse myself into Linux.

Linux is easy these days, in comparison to the early 90's. It's all pointy clicky now, automated installation/uninstallation of software and updates.

There's a steep learning curve and it's worth it. Linux is great for 'working.' You know, when you want to set something up once and just have it work until the hardware grinds to dust? That's linux. :)

Good luck with that....

I've used UNIX pretty much since its inception in the 1980's, and these days use LINUX for manufacturing engineering support of my agorist enterprise.

While I'm no "wiz," if you run into a speed bump, I'd be glad to try and help.
