Self Regulation in Media Giants is Not Enough for Canadian Privacy Standards

in technology •  6 years ago

Facebook amongst other media giants are under scrutiny after the Privacy Commissioner of Canada and British Columbia found privacy violations had occurred.

IMO

This is a rediculous joke dialogue, if you listen to the pitch.

With heavy disregard for trust, and contract law, it can be inferred that the government of Canada wants to encroach our rights to contract freely with social media giants.

The claim is Canadians need our privacy protected, but attacking contract law will on fact do he opposite and encroach our rights and freedoms and reduce the size of our private life.

Fuck the system.
