The Brand New Gaming Console by Microsoft

in technology •  7 years ago

At E3 (The Electronic Entertainment Expo) , Microsoft has released the new gaming console, the Xbox One X. It was previously called Project Scorpio. The Xbox One X is the smallest gaming console they have made ever. The Xbox One X comes with a custom AMD processor which has 8 Cores and clocked at 2.3 GHZ. This gaming console has a lot of packed power, it comes with 12 GB GDDR5 on its graphics processor. It also comes with a 1 TB HDD with 8GB flash memory. I would have really liked it if they had added in a SSD for faster gaming. They have packed their new Scorpio Engine in this console. It comes with 6 Teraflops and with a 326 GB/s memory bandwidth which is really fast! Instead of using air cooling on their console, they have switched to liquid cooling to make sure the console stays quiet and cool. They added in bluetooth now so that when you want to connect your controller to your PC, it will be wire-free, which is a great feature. The Console now has support for 4K video meaning that you can watch a blu-ray disc or a DVD at 4K with a TV that can support it and a HDMI cable that can support 4K video. Another cool feature here is that if you use HDMI 2.0, you will be able to take advantage of the 2160p resolution at 60 Hz which is outstanding! Lastly, the Xbox One X comes with a Dolby 5.1 Channel System with Dolby Atmos which means that you will have a home theater when watching a movie or playing a game. The surround sound system is fantastic on this system! I would really like to compliment Microsoft on this outstanding console, it out beats the PS4 Pro in my opinion and they best part is, they have placed the power brick inside the console so that you don't have tons of wires running all over the place. The Xbox One X is going to be released on November 7th for $499.
