Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G review: Enough for most users

in technology •  3 years ago

Redmi has sold more than 240 million units of the Note series in the last five years. It shows how important this line-up has been for the masses. The Redmi Note phones have always given the best value for money to their customers. They are also often the first to bring certain features to their price segment. So, obviously, everyone had high expectations from the Note 11 series. The feelings are mixed so far. The Note series isn’t as affordable as it was earlier. The Redmi Note 11, Note 11S and Note 11T 5G were good but not extraordinary and the Note 11 Pro+ 5G also joins the list.

The Redmi Note 10 series (Note 10, Note 10 Pro and Note 10 Pro Max) was so good that it was always going to be tough to better it, within just 12 months. The two notable upgrades you get on the Note 11 Pro+ 5G are the 67W fast charging support (against 33W on Note 10 series) and 5G support. Both are good to have but, not enough to make you upgrade your existing phone. Also, to get them, Redmi had to cut a few corners. More on that later. The price also puts the Note 11 Pro+ 5G in a tough space.
