With more population comes more obligation and collective responsibility that needs to be carried. It seems easy for us now to look at the future as prosperous certainty. I really hope so. But, by the 2050, the population will double, and without intention to draw some pesimistic lines about the future of mankind, I will only post a simple question:
Will the increase of population be ready to follow the upcoming trends of rising knowledge and development, or will golden age aftermath history repeat itself once again as we have seen many times through history?

I can't wait to see the year 2045 - maybe Ray Kurzweil is correct and the advancements in A.I. will bring on the Singularity. I was thinking though. There is so much digital content on YouTube, NetFlix, Hulu, Vimeo, and on Social Media. We are constantly bombarded with people telling us to checking this T.V. show out, check this out - check that out, we've reached a point where there's more digital content then there is time in our waking lives. We couldn't have imagined this 10 years ago, what about in the next 10 years?

that there are exponentially-accelerating advancements unfolding is unquestionable... however, it also may be quite possible that the vision Kurzweil and company have for what "the Singularity" is and may look like may be quite a bit different than how they present.
keep in mind, many predictive projections are based on our current levels of understanding and frames of reference. some of the most significant leaps to come, we may not even yet be able to fathom in the context of any sort of reference available now.
chances are, things will unfold alot differently than envisioned - especially in a new realm of quantum computing - and integrating A.I. into technologies functioning in quantum consciousness states, rather than physical technology alone as most are viewing A.I. as computer-based... ;-)

Again. Not spamming. Not copy pasting. Reading articles, engaging in conversation AND promoting my blog. Is that frowned upon here?

Every Computer Program requires a Programmer...whom do you trust to program your "Upgrade" and what of those who do not accept the "Upgrade"?

Trust is earned... and to each choice, there are consequences...
t'is not always easy to discern the right choices, though each of us must make our own choices with the best of knowledge we have - perhaps continually seeking to upgrade our knowledge so as to make better choices, and learning from the poorer choices as we go...

History is a pretty good indicator of who NOT to trust. For instance, Uncle Sam insists Tech firms build back doors into software and hardware so he can have carte blanche access to everyone's computer, (in the name of "National Security" of course).
The result was this policy of building back doors into everything makes everyone and everything vulnerable to hacks, malware, ransomware, etc, including Uncle Sam...but instead of following Constitutional guidelines for Issue of warrant on Probable Cause, etc he causes great disruption and harm for not allowing encryption....
You DO know Uncle Sam will want a 'back door' to your brain chip to "keep you safe" don't you? The next most important question is, are you willing to allow for some nameless computer engineer to program your new brain tech?

For me James Watson and Francis Crick are on the same level with Einstein. Their discovery has opened the gate for some incredible possibilities in the not so distant future.
DNA is fascinating and technologies like recombinant DNA are absolutely mind blowing. It's just a question of time until we will be able to manipulate DNA to change whatever aspect we want.
Thanks for these videos, i really appreciate them.

"that future" for sure is coming. The question is when. And, to me, it's pretty soon, within a decade.
If you take the evolution of human history, the progress we have made in last two decades are more than the rest of human evolution. Now, we have science, technology in its most advanced form. AI gets fitted exact right to enhance the progress. And, with the speed, we are progressing, "that future" is eminent.

Machine learning fuses AI research. Can the convenient dance squeeze humans? A firework plays with humans after the infected attorney. Robots retain a snack next to the billfold.
