Whatsapp wants to start peer-to-peer payment feature for its 20 million users and is waiting for the government's approval for it.

The parent company Facebook, facing intense investigations on promoting false information and fake news on Whatsapp, has said that it will launch a peer-to-peer payment feature for 20 million users of its instant mobile messaging platform. Is waiting for the green flag. Issuing the results of the second quarter of 2018, the company's chief executive, Mark Zuckerberg, told analysts that the company has been testing the payment feature on WhatsApp for some time in India. Zuckerberg said, 'This provides an easy way for people to send money to each other and contribute to more financial inclusion. It has got a great response. All signals show that after the approval of the government, users will use it extensively. Earlier this year, Whatsapp had released beta version of its payment feature for nearly 10 million users. Users who have tested beta versions in India say that there is a long list of banks supporting the Whatsapp interface and the payment feature appears in the Settings menu of Whatsapp.
