We all knew Soundcloud was dying, what we weren't aware of was how soon. Even after cutting 40% of their stuff, Soundcloud is still immensely short on funds.
The music app bid farewell to 173 of its employees, in order to cut costs and consequently save the company. As reported by TechCrunch, the company's operations can continue for 50 more days only given the resources and money they have left.
However, it is rumoured that SoundCloud might be able to get new funding if talks with potential investors are successful.
What do you make of this news? Do you think SoundCloud should live on, or is the app better off dying? Sound off in the comments section below.
