How Tech Will Become Even More Engrained In Our Lives In The Future

As we get deeper and deeper into the 21st century, one thing is becoming abundantly clear. The highly intimate role that technology is playing in our lives is getting even more pervasive.

What makes one realise this is the contrast between the life of an average person, say, three decades ago and today. It becomes immediately clear that technology is all around us and has become an integral part of our lives.

From the moment we wake up in the morning to the time we go to bed at night, we are consistently using and are actually reliant on things that didn't even exist a few decades ago.

As we travel further into the 21st century, technology will only get more advanced and more indispensable, making the future world look quite different than what it is today.

How Will Our Lives Look

We can expect more real time information to be available to us, helping us make decisions on the fly. Computing interfaces will gradually shift away from our many screens to right in our field of vision, owing to quicker access needs.

Computers will become more ubiquitous and things like AI will take care a lot of our mundane tasks without us even having to thing about it and it will also take care of managing our homes and offices for us.

Autonomous electric vehicles would fundamentally change how we look at transportation. More and more people will shift towards sharing instead of owning cars and traffic jams and accidents will be reduced to a very low degree.

Medical science, augmented by AI will result in several breakthroughs that will save countless lives. Nanotechnology will help us take more control of our health and diseases could be diagnosed in real time. All this will greatly increase our lifespan too.

The economies of the world will see a reinvention as well with blockchain at the forefront of that change. Cryptocurrencies will be mainstream and the imaginary national borders will become that much less relevant. It will be a much more open and inclusive world.

Our energy needs will increasingly come from renewable sources as we shift gradually from fossil fuels. This should also help us start undoing the damage to the environment over the last centuries.

All in all, we will be living in a world where technology becomes ever more integrated with human life and in a way that enhances and augments it in every way.

Yep!

Yes I mean we already have Alexla, and the google ai in our houses already! Interesting times in deed.

Times are surely interesting :)

We have Alexa, Cortana, Google Assistant and Siri.

Cortana is kind of restricted in terms of presence. Windows 10 and speakers are what comes to my mind.

Same with Siri, she's only on iPhones and the HomePod.

Google Assistant is on speakers, our phones, tablets, smart displays and cars. She might be in more places, but I'm not aware of those at the time of writing this.

Alexa? Speakers and Windows 10 (You have to ask Cortana to get Alexa or say "Alexa" to get her but you'll have to set it up). I know some people did some DIY projects like shoving Alexa into a fish or into a mirror via Raspberry Pi.

There's other assistants like Hound who, unfortunately, seemed to disappoint people despite this impressive internal 2015 demonstration. But yeah, unfortunately, people are gonna have multiple assistants in their home in the future, which means, no privacy.

Yeah man privacy is taking a giant hit
