Google released it's new two Pixel phones, Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL in the last months of last year, 2017. Even after releasing this two new phones, Google continued to sell it's original first generation Pixel phones alongside the new Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. This first generation Pixels are also one of the best Android smartphones still now in 2018. It was the first showcase of what Google can offer and honestly, they delivered the customer's expectations quite completely.

But now in the first week of April 2018, Google removed the original Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones from their online store which is https://store.google.com. We know and believe that every phone has their average lifespan which is like 1 or at best 1.5 years in total. But considering, the original Pixel and Pixel XL are still great phones, they could easily sell these phones with some discounts or some price-cuts so that people who have the budget problem but still wants to use a Google Pixel series phone, they could at least get their hands on the first generation Pixel phones. But it is what it is. Google's decision is to straight remove the older Pixel phones from their online store. But you can still get the older Pixel phones in various other Online stores like Amazon or eBay as long as they have it in their stock.
