The Idea of connecting the entire world to the internet sounds great doesn't it? Yes, there would be many benefits to having such luxury but what about the consequences? Facebook wants to utilize drones and other high tech gear across the globe to reach the areas that don't have the ability to connect to the internet. This would put the entire world under watch and surveillance; and those who do not have Facebook would more than likely connect. This would make it to where every person connected to Facebook could be watched and tracked. I would like to hear all thoughts.

Making the world more digital is a two-way street in my opinion. Technology like open banking makes us more convenient to deal with financial matters. Open data also allows us to get access to more data sources for companies to develop new business models more easily. Yet, cyber security issues should be taken into account since cyber crime grows when more data are put online.

Hi spainm87,
Facebook is such a dominant force in our society.
I think that most companies like Amazon, Apple, and Microsoft
are heading in the same direction of surveillance.
Thanks :)

There are people in the world that have zero connection. Or its highly regulated or monitored or simply blocked. I like the idea of decentralized money, wealth, and even decentralized media and social media.
